Darlington Market Events
Darlington Indoor Market is launching a brand new shopping service in the lead up to Christmas this year.
From Saturday 8 December 2018, shoppers coming to buy their fresh meat, groceries and produce from the independent market traders, will be able to leave their shopping and come back later with their car to collect their shopping from the designated parking bay in Tubwell Row.
Small Business Saturday UK is a grassroots, non-commercial campaign, which celebrates small business success and encourages consumers to ‘shop local’ and to support businesses in their communities.
Is that the pitter patter of tiny reindeer hooves I can hear? That can only mean one thing, Santa is on his way to Darlington Market for Darlington’s annual Christmas Market and the big Christmas light switch on and he is bringing with him a sack full of surprises!
After being postponed on the 13th October due to unsafe wind levels, Darlington’s World Food Day Market went ahead this weekend. We have not had too much luck with the weather, as the morning saw an unseasonably cold start with the first snow of the season, but the Market went ahead along West Row and inside the Covered Market.
Rumours that Darlington Market is haunted will prove true this Halloween when we play host to a whole load of spooky goings on!
Following the popularity of the Cool Science Slime Shows over the Food Festival weekend, we’re excited to announce that Cool Science is coming back with two spooky science shows and three Halloween sessions in the Covered Market between 9am and 4pm on Wednesday 31st October.
